Lead Organizer

Oklahoma City, OK
The Lead Organizer is the primary point of contact for an organizing job. They are the face of SORT Organization Services LLC to the client and are responsible for following up after the client's request for quote, job, and client satisfaction follow up. Additionally, they plan and shop for the specific materials needed for each individual job and complete returns as necessary. Lead Organizers may work alone or have additional organizers within their management on a job, and report directly to the CEO. This is a part-time position, with the potential to expand to full-time.
Our mission is to help our clients streamline and manage their belongings in ways that best serve their unique needs through judgment-free organization by our professional organizing team. The ideal candidate will be an active problem solver and empathetic support for our clients, while still managing time and team to make the most of every minute for our clients.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate calendar in HoneyBook CRM to allow for easy client scheduling experience
  • Communication with the client through written, phone, and in person communication
  • Quoting call with client to prepare for a seamless organizing experience
  • Planning for project, including purchases of and returns of organizing products that fit within the client’s budget
  • On-site organizing using the SORT method, including working in spaces that might be dirty, dusty, and pose injury hazards
  • Management of other on-site organizers to make best use of client’s time and budget
  • Management of team safety while on-site, including health and safety assessments and injury risk mitigation
  • Removal of debris from site, including trash when necessary and donation items
  • Tracking and reporting of SORT supply inventory and customer supply inventory
  • Honest and open reporting on successes and concerns within each job to the CEO
  • Responding to emails in a timely fashion (maximum of 24 hours for clients)
  • Comply with and enforce the terms of the client contract, including when it applies directly to the safety of the SORT team

Required Qualifications
  • Valid state Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (required)
  • US work authorization (required)
  • ​Able and willing to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Previous Experience
​Candidate can have a breadth of experience organizing, from their personal organization to organizing for others. However, the candidate must be able to clearly articulate the systems they have previously used, the process for implementation, and the resulting benefit of that organizing system. 

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years previous employment preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Administrative record keeping experience preferred
  • High School diploma minimum preferred 

​Working Conditions
Applicants acknowledge that job sites are in clients' homes and will provide a variety of working conditions. The Lead Organizer is responsible for assessing the safety of the environment and has the right to leave a job site that is potentially physically or emotionally hazardous to the Lead Organizer and organizing team, as outlined in our client contract.
Benefits & Compensation

$14/hour, plus percentage commission for jobs booked from your quote call
On-the-job training

After completing 300 hours of projects within 2 years, we will offer you a SORT Certified Lead Organizer certificate and a robust letter of recommendation outlining the skills you have demonstrated and the things you are now qualified to do because of having worked with our team. Our team will vouch for you that you can do the various aspects of this job, including:

Taylor is a Certified Professional Organizer and is passionate about helping others feel seen, training employees in ways that build cross-career skill sets, and belly laughing as much as possible. She was raised in Oklahoma, graduated from Southwest Covenant Schools in Yukon, got her degree in Music Education from Oklahoma City University, worked as an educator for Oklahoma City Public Schools and Denver Public Schools, and has leadership experience from her time with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and the Fort Worth Symphony. She talks on the phone, snuggles her creatures (Woodford, Boris, and Minette) as often as possible, and loves beautiful shoes.
